Category Manager

 

As a Category Manager at Deep Dive you will be responsible for:

  • Utilize category management skills and understanding to deliver against brand volume, market share, and profit objectives

  • Develop and manage all consumption, shipment, and consumer based information that are disseminated to Target’s buying team

  • Work with variety of data to develop recommendations for products or Retailer product mix, pricing, promotion and merchandising

  • Provide assistance in developing insights and recommendations on new items, promotional planning, “fix the product mix" opportunities, merchandising optimization, and pricing initiatives

  • Work with Target’s buying team to utilize category and consumer management insights to help drive overall product launch strategy

  • Identify unmet consumer needs and participate in cross-functional teams to develop product, service, and market-space solutions to address those needs

  • Communicate relevant industry trending information to key stakeholders

  • Plan, create and perform extensive POG building throughout transition / revision processes

  • Maintain confidentiality of restricted customer information

  • Manage and develop direct reports by creating an environment that fosters learning and growth.

  • Champion “Best in Class” analysis and reporting by utilizing your resources and being an expert with spreadsheets, databases, and presentation tools.

  • Continually improve Category Management proficiencies, people management skills and business skill set.

Account Manager

As an Account Manager at The Creative Partners Group you will be responsible for:

  • Proactively recognize sales trends and identifying new opportunities for Vendor Partner 

  • Analysis of sales data on a weekly basis reporting highlights/concerns/trends 

  • Collaborative forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing new items, TPC’s or special events 

  • Monitor instock position and proper execution by tracking PO’s and shipping on time and complete 

  • Attend weekly/monthly meetings with Target Buyers and Business Analysts to discuss opportunities/concerns 

  • Provide meeting recaps to Vendor Partners and Target team outlining action plans for all items discussed in meetings 

  • Collect competitive shopping reports 

  • Item set up and maintenance 

  • Chargeback and Accounts Payable research 

  • Manage packaging and quality processes for Target’s Private label vendors 

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is motivated to positively influence the business they are managing for Target. A great personality as well as strong decision making skills are a must!
